JUAN FLYNN

Owner & Finance Director

Juan Flynn has 17 years of experience in the electric utility industry. He has a B.S degree in Energy Management from Bismarck State University. In this time, he has held roles ranging from skilled labor to leadership positions in the fields of power generation and transmission operations. Before LGE/KU, Juan spent 4 years as owner of franchise company managing all aspects of business to achieve a successful operation. In his current position as a Lead Electrical System Coordinator, he oversees the daily operation of the Bulk Electrical System of the LGE/KU system, which supports reliable operation of the national power grid. Within LGE/KU, he has participated in the change initiative for employee involvement and silo elimination that has formed a department Core Team. The Core Team’s key purposes are to maintain an open communication channel with all levels of management, the ability to efficiently dispense, gather, and evaluate resources for the department to serve internal and external customers accurately and efficiently, and establish employee involvement in department development. Efficient resources, information, and financial stability are key goals that I strive for in business operations.
