OSHA & NFPA 70E Compliance

Aequitas Power adheres to all OSHA standards related to electrical construction, commercial and industrial services, and utility infrastructure work, including:

Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Arc-flash protection
Fall protection
Confined space safety
Trenching & shoring
Equipment operation protocols

We follow NFPA 70E electrical safe-work practices on every job site.

Daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)

Before a single tool is lifted, our crews conduct a site-specific JHA:

Work scope and sequencing
Hazard identification
Control measures
PPE verification
Tailboard discussion

This ensures every worker understands the plan, the hazards, and the controls in place.

IBEW-Trained Workforce

Our electricians and line professionals receive industry-leading training. Our team consists of:

Master Electricians
Journeyman Wiremen
IBEW Apprentices
Utility-trained line professionals

Training includes:

OSHA 10 (all field employees)
OSHA 30 (supervisors & leadership)
Arc-flash & high-voltage safety
First Aid / CPR

PPE & Field Standards

We maintain strict PPE requirements on all job sites to ensure safe, compliant operations:

Arc-rated FR clothing
Dielectric gloves and sleeves for utility work
Face shields and safety glasses
Hard hats and EH-rated boots
Proper barricading and work-zone protection
Insulated tools and voltage testing
